What's the best supplement for boost to immune system? |
my mom is going to be having some surgery next week & I want to get her on something with zinc & selenium. but, I need more info. about dosage amounts & anything else that might help. food Vitamin C Just clean eating.. Lost of pure juice, fresh fruit and veggies...You will find the most in raw items. Vitamin C, Zinc are great because they will enhance healing. herbs are very good to immune systems. B vitamins, C, not sure of dosage, call your local health food store for advice, most of the people working there are very knowledgable zinc is good, but vitamin C and a good multi vitamin will really help. you can get adequate vitamin C by drinking full pulp orange juice every day. this will also give you folic acid, which is good for women anyway. Look up stuff like colostrum, wheat grass. Also look into something called: Actually, she needs to consult her doctor or even the nurses in Pre op registration, as there are supplements that can adversely interfere with or cause the surgery to get post poned, so don't risk it. She should be careful taking ANYTHING new before surgery. Make sure you tell the SURGEON everything she takes, as you don't know what might affect BLEEDING during surgery. Taking something as simple as a baby aspirin within a couple days of surgery can cause horrendous problems DURING surgery. Check out the following website: http://www.enivamembers.com/188138 extra doses of love and care To give an awesome boost to your immune system in general (not for just zinc, etc) take 1 teaspoon of olive oil with oregeno. I would say vitamin C. If you really care about your mom's health, why the heck would you ask the people that reply to questions here? Ask the doctor. For your health though, I would advise vanilla ice cream, for me its too late for ice cream. I am stuck with straight vodka three times a day. Wish your mom success with her surgery. But if you want to ask a question about something important, don't ask here. You might get someone like me to answer! But even worse, you might actually listen to what I said. |
