Does Anyone here have seborrheic dematitis?

If anyone has this type of dermatitis what are your symptoms?
I have extreme itchiness of the face and scalp area, really no rash to speak of. It is much worse during allergy season.
I have to wash hair at least every other day with strong dandruff shampoos, sometimes it feels like the actual hair follicles themselves are itching:( Dr. has tried me on Prescription shampoos..selenium sulfide, Nizoral, they didn't help much.
I've been like this for 2 yrs. The only way I survive it is that I can have long periods of time that I have no symptoms at all. Also I have a lot of allergies and asthma.
If anyone has this condition or similar symptoms, what treatments help? SERIOUS answers only please!!!!

yes, i have it. i also have allergies and asthma. fun stuff all of it.
i find my SD is worse in the winter, when it's cold and dry. the summer it's not so bad. I use Neutrogena TGel shampoo. there are different strengths. I've finally started using the extra strength formula. I've found it was the only one that worked for me. Wash your hair EVERYDAY. That works best. Occasionally I'll break out in a small rash somewhere, I use cortaid or some sort of cortizone cream and that usually always takes care of it.
I did the doctor and prescription thing for awhile, but they didn't seem to help much. Nowadays you can get pretty good stuff over the counter. There's also something called Scalpicin. I use that on my scalp when it itches really bad. It helps with the itch.

I was going to suggest Selsun and Nizoral, but you have been there. Has the doctor gone for the coal tar shampoos? They are really strong and now used in the last resort.
Has anyone figured out what you are allergic to? That is a start to find out what you should avoid. Stress is a key factor as well. Allergens with stress can bring this on.

Have you been to a dermatologist with all of this? That may be the next step in getting this dealt with.
