Odd scalp condition...I REALLY NEED ADVICE!!? |
My scalp gives off small, clear looking crystals. They could be compared to "Sugar in the raw" ( a larger type of sugar crystals), but they are clear. These make my scalp itch continuously. I went to my doctor, and he perscribed selenium sulfide (2.5%), but the only affect this had on me was to give me what looked like very thin flakes. What condition could I have? Any advice will be really appreciated... Why do people like EMAILSKIP have to be so mean? Cant people be mature that I have a question? And no, this is not my main yahoo answers account, all i want is some adivce with something thats bothered me for as long as I can remember. If your gonna be like EMAILSKIP sounds like psoriasis Do you routinely shower with farm animals? You know, Chickens, Cows, Pigs..... Are you using a combination shampoo and conditioner? This site says that it could be the crystals in the combination products. Try straight shampoo and a straight conditioner and see if it helps. Maybe they have another answer if you are already currently doing this. They also suggested Tgel shampoo and conditrioners. You are suffering a skin condition called "lichen planus" a form of psoriasis. This a nervous condition and it evolves to worse the more nervous you are about it. I have no idea! I've not heard of anyone having a condition like yours.Have you seen a doctor? Seborrheic dermatitis is a common, inflammatory skin condition that causes flaky, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas such as the scalp or inside the ear.
