Seizures help!?

I recently started have stress related seizures. there sort of usual. the dr. said there closest to partial complex seizure. I don't space out. I know what's happening. the thing is my eye sight isn't very good and when ppl freakout its hard to stay calm. I want to know. what can I tell ppl to do? I'm really new at this. my signs before hand are:

weakness
headache
feeling extremly hot or cold
shaking

but some of those symptoms happen but I don't have a seizure. So what sould I do? other than sit or lay down. and what should I tell ppl? I'm starting meds but its not perfect

Okay so your question is confusing. Do you have partial seizures, or do you have grand mal (Tonic/Clonic seizures)? For Grand mal seizures people should pad under your head. After the seizure is over they should place you on your Left Side. This is called the "Recovery Position" aka (Left Lateral Recumbant). Also You should ahead of time let others know if you would like them to call 911 or not, when you have a seizure.

If you are starting meds you need to find out what things would be safe to take with the meds because some things can counteract the meds while others can over amplify the effects.

Some things that would be good to take (as long as they interact with the meds.)
taurine
B complex
sublingual B12
GABA
maganese
500 mg calcium and 250 mg magnesium at bedtime

I have complex partial and grand mal (Seizurs 4+min) so i no what u mean about the eye sight being bad and like you can hear them but u cant see them

1Tell someone (just tell them that u might have a seizur, tell them that they do not need to call 911 unless you go into a complet seizur or if your DR wants them too)
2 Sit /laydown
3 h2o somtimes helps
4 keep talking (try to take controal of the seizur)

I have had seizures for over 20 yrs. I started out with the bad grand mal. It took about 3 yrs. to get to the best combination of medications. I am now on Lamictal and Mysoline.
I have been on all the old ones and I know new ones are coming out all the time. I hope you are seeing a neurologist, a regular Dr. doesn't specialize in seizures or know what the neurologist does. I have gotten down to petite seizures now. When I feel one coming on, I stick up a finger, like wait a minute. Not many people know about them, except some friends and family. You are doing the right thing, sit down or if a bad one lay down where ever you are. With these I have now, I really just can't communicate, mumble when trying to talk and don't understand what others are saying. I can walk and do things, but feel as in another world. I usually have a headache where it happened in the brain and my husband used to or my daughter does wipe my face with cold wet cloth, any with grand mals or lose conscience, shouldn't have anything put in their mouth and should be rolled on side to drain all the saliva and guarded to make sure they don't hit something of fall over something. Good luck to you and go on line and look it up and get all the info you can and all the phamplets from the neurologist you can.====
