Started getting seizures?

im 16 and recently i have been having a few seizures. i dont lose consciousness or anything and am awake during them. i dont know its weird, like im awake and there, but then again its like im not there. hard to explain. i have never had seizures before either. the weird thing is every single time i have had one its been in the bathroom. i dont know im scared to go to the bathroom now cause im scared ill have another one. about that though my dad died in this bathroom. he actually overdosed a long time ago and the next morning was found dead in that bathroom. this was a long time ago. i live with my mom. it was a very traumatic experience in my past and i was really young and my doctors said stress could cause seizures. i dont know but could that be the reason why i got these seizures and only have them in the bathroom, and why all of the sudden now? like i said ive never had seizures at all in my life before this. i was healthy and everything, now i end up in the hospital all the time

Have you every been diagnosed with having epilepsy or something? Sounds like petite mal seizures, however could be something else. I have epilepsy with a life history of grand mal seizures. I have to take medication for this, I won't suggest medication because the stuff I have to take is nothing to experiment with. Tell your doctor about this he or she can determine if you should be on meds. or not. Those grand mals can be dangerous. Hope this helps.

I also had a bathroom at work that triggered seizures. It was a combination of very small tiles (lots of them) and very bright lighting. Its not weird. I hope you are seeing a good doctor.

That's strange.......IDK about you but I believe in bad spirits and stuff. Maybe, just maybe, theres a bad spirit that's there and is making these bad things happen. Please dont think that Im saying your dad is bad.Who knows, maybe that bad spirit did something to your dad. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear this. If Dr's can't find anything wrong with you, maybe you should take this into consideration and bless your home. Good luck to you!

You may have seizures and what you explained you may be having panic attacks! One way to check yourself out for seizures is get a strobe light and look into the lights blinking, it usually will bring on a seizure, if not go to a doctor and they will do the same treatment plus a scan of the brain, what it does sound like to me is panic attacks, do you wet your pants or defecate on yourself? these are things to look for after the seizure is over with, to be safe see a doctor.
