Can weed cause seizures?

My friend smokes weed and yesterday he was at his friends house and they were smoking weed. Everyone was high and then this kid got a seizure. He never had seizures before, well at least thats what my friend told me when he was telling me about his little experience. So I was wondering could smoking weed have caused that kids seizure? What else can weed do other than get you high and give you lung cancer and asthma?

I honestly dont know whether or not that stuff was laced with coke or anything else because I dont smoke weed, I never have and I never will. And on top of it all I wasnt there so I wouldnt know. I just wish that my friend would stop doing it and Im trying my hardest to make him stop but its not working....

its quite possible, weed messes with your brain, kills brain cells and stuff. its really bad for you.

I have never heard of weed causing seizures. Sure that stuff wasn't laced with something else, like coke?
