Undiagnosed seizures? |
My daughter started having seizures 10 months ago. Did a 24 hour eeg with normal results. Should I persist in another EEG. She always has seizures a week after her period and after sleeping in. also when she has seizures it is actually several in one day over a couple of days. I have noticed not enough water intake, after her period and sleeping late as always being associated. The doc suggested stress, I say ridiculous. any ideas? PLEASE get another doctor's opinion! Whatever is causing your daughter's seizures, she needs medical attention as soon as possible. Any type of seizure may cause permanent damage and should be alleviated by diagnosis and medication as soon as possible. Yes stress can cause seizures when they did the EEG did they do it with a Cap or place the electrodes directly on her head. Also this have some lab work done. Because is she diabietic so can potassium being off many things can cause seizure and just plan seizure disorder. Report It My cousin had the same problem See a specialist. |
