Question about my seizures, someone plz help!? |
I have an aura right b4 i get them, i start getting lightheaded, then right b4 it happens i get real dizzy,so dizzy in fact that its hard to walk, and i look like im drunk. Then when the seizure hits, i have small jerks that last a second or two in my upper body, from my waist up.these jerks usually get repeated a few times b4 the seizures over.I always remain conscious and know whats goin on, what kinda seizures am having? How hard would it be to get medication?Do i need a bunch of expensive test done?I also had seizures when i was around 3 yrs old, and got put on medication,if the doctor knows that can i get some medication fast without test?Someone out there plz give me some answers, plz. Thanks for ur time. There are many, many different types of seizures. The only person that's qualified to tell you exactly what type you have is a neurologist. Call your local hospital and ask for a referral to a neurologist that specializes in seizures or epilepsy. Take care. Here's some info on seizures. I would absolutely see your doctor. I'm assuming money is the issue for the reluctance for testing. There are many facilities that would help with this if you don't have insurance, or insurance that pays for all of it. Intense testing is usually needed to determine what exactly is going on with you body. Check out this website! |
