Seizures and TVs? LCD, Plasma? |
I get seizures when i play video games, i haven't had one in years but i do remember at the hospital they told me that if i played on an LCD TV that i would not have a seizure because they are caused by the refresh rate on regular TVs. We now have enough money to buy a nice TV and i would like one that would be safer to play video games on. Are LCD's really seizure safe and are plasmas also safer or is it only LCD? i dont really know anything about TVs. LCDs don't cause epeleptic seizures, so yes, go for that. I wouldn't buy a plasma since video games will burn into the plasma. Samsung makes very nice LCDs. They have one that is 32 inches and costs around $1500 Wow, I had no idea that the type of TV caused seizures. We have a LCD flat screen, play video games all the time on it. Neither of us have had siezures. |
