Relationship between pain and seizures?

Anytime I'm in intense pain, I have a seizure. It has happened 4 times in the past 4 years, and everytime I've gone to the ER, they release me and tell me everything looks great. I've been to the neurologist and everythings fine. I understand that when someone is in pain, the blood can rush to the area of pain and therefore make the person lightheaded and passout, but I'm having seizures.

Problems with the brain are not the sole reason for having seizures. I can assure you I'm not trying to receive attention, infact I've been alone when this has happened and I keep it to myself, and this last time, I didn't even go to the ER because they haven't been helpful. I KNOW that my seizures have something to do with my pain because thats the only time I have them. My doctor told me it was a vasovagal reaction, but that usually just causes people to pass out, not have seizures.

If a neurologist has done an EEG, and everything checked out fine, then I suggest that what you are doing is a form of attention getting behavior. You might want to consider a psychiatrist.
