What are some good sources for FACTS about secondhand smoke? |
I'm looking for reliable sources with factual information, not just the "secondhand smoke is bad for everyone" that is available anywhere you look. I am not a smoker, I am doing a research paper. Thank you! Hmmm, well I would look at what the American Lung Association has to say, then I would look at studies done in Europe and Australia. You may be surprised at what you find. rather get it new, you never know where its been Go to Truth.com...they'll tell you alot on how bad Second-hand smoking is. Second hand smoke is worse than smokeing it right from whatever your smoking because the second hand smoke has already been n someones lungs and there lungs are dirtty from other smoke, so it cuntaminates the secondhand smoke even more. Try this, it's from the American Lung Association web site: the main facts would be you are smoking also Stay away from smokers,and you will be fine. umm...... well I think that phillipmoriss.com is supposed to be helpful, my friend did a paper on it and said that helped her get an A. Oh and if it doesn't work, sorry! :( |

I have a funny story.... I came home one afternoon, and my dog was acting kinda funny; stumbling, salivating, rather cross-eyed. I ran him to the vet, as I thought maybe someone had poisoned him ... Well, common sense tells you it won't do you any good. As far as harm done, you will have a hell of a time getting the truth. All the studies on it have been biased one way or the other to mee... well it is true the child would end up with health problems such as lungs and breathing problems and it is more danger on the child than the one who is smoking. ...Yes, ...NO...That's propaganda! Second hand smoke never hurt anyone other than the smell. It hasn't hurt people for years it's just the bastard non-smokers trying to ruffle a few feathers. I... i think it is REALLY that bad for you. consider this--you're in a car pool with 3 other people. its winter and you're the only non-smoker in the car. its so cold that people only wan... Smokers are affected. Its actually more lethal to smoke than from second hand smoke. But second hand smoke is also unhealthy. I don't know who told you second hand smoke is more lethal but ... becuase it doesnt go through the filter! ... |
