Im sick because of secondhand smoke again. What can I do? |
Im a healthy non-smoker and I work in hotel and smokers have to smoke outside and their cig smoke drifts comes into the hotel lobby from the outside and now Im sick. There should be laws against this abuse. My lungs cant take it anymore because of smokers......but I need to pay my bills. What can I do? Do you also have problems when cars drive passed and you breath in the exhaust fumes? Or a low flying jet offends your ear drums, or a kid screams in the street or smog really gets up your nose, do you frequently complain about these things? Boo hoo, you little whiner. Go live in a bubble. Report It Go to your boss and ask if they can put up a sign that asks smokers to stand 10 feet from the door. I've seen these signs, they help keep the smoke from entering the building. Other than getting a different job I can't think of anything else. if you have been working at a hotel, with that little amount of smoke coming in, long enough to get sick...You are probably dead on the inside anyways, so just live with it. Quit being such a pussy. I don't know the exact name of it, but there's an ashtray that "inhales" smoke. |
