How much research has been done to determine the effects of secondhand smoke?

Scotland wouldnt ban smoking in public unless they had sufficient evidence of secondhand smoking... and i can tell u.. i really enjoy going to a pub and not coming home stinking of fags!

A lot has be researched, but depending on who does the research you get a different conclusion. The government says in their findings secondhand smoke kills. A report released early in '03 say the effects of secondhand smoke is too insignificant to to be determined. I can't find it right now but when I do I will link it.
