Smoking Cigarettes vs. Puffing Cigars: The Risks?

I know all about the risks of smoking cigarettes, but what if someone simply puffs (not inhales) cigars? Are oral cancer & secondhand smoke really the only dangerous factors? Say someone puffs one cigar a day...what are some of the risks they're looking at?

I am a cigar smoker and have been smoking cigars for quite a few years. While there are risks to smoking anything, there are still risks associated with cigars and pipes, even though you do not inhale them. The risks are higher for oral and throat cancers and I guess second hand smoke but if you spend any amount of time in bars then it is no more risky than that. As long as you enjoy cigars responsibly and in moderation, and probably not more than one a day, it should not be more harmful than having a beer or glass of wine per day. Enjoy, I hope this helps.

We should all stop smoking tobacco products and bankrupt the companies that have been profitting by murdering us with their deadly poisons and lying to us about how stylish or how tasteful it is to smoke. If I started putting strychnine in a drink and sold it as an halucinagenic beverage, and it started killing people, you can bet your *** they wouldn't hesitate to lock my *** up in jail. The only reason tobacco is legal is because our governments make tax, lots of tax, off our deadly addictions. If marijuana could be taxed it would be made legal but too many people have access to seeds and grow it them selves. If you grew your own tobacco without a license, you would be arrested.
