Should I get a second opinion befor getting fillings?

Hi, went to the dentist for the first time in 7 years... I know, I know, should NEVER let it go that long. What can I say, I was treating my teeth like most people treat their eyes. They told me I have six cavities... have no sensitivity or pain. Should I get a second opinion before having them filled? Been wondering since someone mentioned "drilling for dollars" All the work is covered by my insurance.

I would get a second opinion. Some years ago I have made a 4 year gap without dentist and than went to new dentists as my old one stopped working.
Every time I came to him, he saw new cavity. After "repairing" 5 teeth that were NOT hurting, and filling the root of 2.5 of them, I decided that I don't want to pay any more before having a second opinion.
I went to state dentist who said that my tooth (which the first dentist wanted to fill!) was completely healthy and they wandered how come that someones filling teeth that are not hurting.
I am sure that most of them were nice healthy teeth.
