Kaiser has only 1 Rheumatoid Pediatrician. If I want a second opinion can I get one? |
I think it is my legal right to a second opinion. Since Kaiser has only 1 Rheumatoid Pediatrician then shouldn't Kaiser foot the bill for a second opinion that obviously will be outside the plan? Yes,I think I remember being at kaiser member services and someone requesting records for a referral outside of kaiser.But to be sure call member services@1-800-464-4000.Do whatever it takes for you to be sure you are getting the right information and the right treatment.I just recently lost a baby due to a Dr.'s misdiagnosis at Kaiser,so please be very careful.Good Luck! |
