Should i get second opinion?

i have 20/15 vision in my left eye and legally blind in my right eye because of a tear in the back of my eye.

The doctor said the vision problems in my right eye were because of the tear and that the tear or vision problems cant be corrected, he said my eye well probably stay the same and that getting glasses or contacts may make it worst

the tear is not a detached retina my mom asked the doctor that, the doctor said it was a actual tear, and the doctor asked had i ever got hit in the eye with anything. the tear has been there since i was born

I think you mean macular hole , which is not curable .

Yeah. This is your vision, it's very important, and the fact that you're questioning his decision is enough to warrant getting a second opinion. I would do it.

I would get a second opinion, not because I think you're doctor is wrong, but it's a good thing to do anytime you get a diagnosis that tells you that you have no options. It can't hurt, you've already heard the worst.

It never hurts to get a second opinion. I have heard that glasses can make your eyes worse, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there is no treatment or hope for your eye/vision. Try another doctor and if he says the same at least you won't be wondering, ya know? Good luck!
