To travel in India just follow some simple rules: don't drink any unbottled water, make sure the bottle is sealed before it is opened (have they open it in front of you), don't eat salads or any uncooked meals.
There are good health centers in the main cities but be careful, hygiene is not a common good there.
Before you travel, make sure you a have a list of private health centers and take with you some anti-diarrea medicine.
For the rest, enjoy the trip and the amazing culture, food and nature of this incredible country.

hey, hey, hey, i am indian, wuts the matter. u should go to india, its a very nice place, first u need to have an idea, where ur going , there are lot of site seeing to go to. there are very nice hotels and resorts for NRI's ( Non- Resident- Indian) like u. w hy don't u want to go to India, its a very nice place. u should consider it.

what is your story that you are not intent to come down to India....?Whats wrong hear if you think we are different then don't come down is OK.... we have Hundred thousands of tourist coming down to India all the time and is one the greatest natural place in the planet.So i would just tell you one thing if you are not planing to come down then..... you really missing something my friend.
