Need a second opinion about my ongoing eye problem!? |
In a nutshell. Back in May I aquired an eye ulser. I was put on a prescription eye drop. I continued to wear my contacts though. My glasses were broke at the time.I have been wearing contacts for 13 years and never have had troubles. Then my right eye began to lose vision same eye as the ulser but the ulser was healed. I tryed different drops. Finally I broke down and bought glasses wore them for almost a month and it got better. That was 3 mo ago. Now off and on I have this problem. So I'll take my contacts out wear my glasses for a day and then it goes away usually. I can't afford to go to a specialist or even my regular eye dr. at this point. I still owe on past visits and have no ins. I wear acuvue contacts for astigmatism. And Opti free replenish. I'm wondering if i could be allergic to my solution. I didn't have this problem until I started using this brand. But if that was the case then why is it in just one eye? Oh I also am a hairstylist so I wrk around chemicals all day. I was sleeping in my contacts but my Dr. said they were designed to sleep in up to a week. He also said he sometimes suggests wearing a contact w an ulser to act as a "bandade"I have this happen even w/ a brand new pair of contacts. Your right, you need a second opinion. See a NEW doctor. no. not "allergy" to solution. unlikely to be your chemicals at work, either. |
