Wrist problems, need a second opinion? |
For maybe 2 or 3 years now, I've had some very mild pain in my left wrist, most likely from staying at the computer 8 hours a day playing high-reflex games, and typing. It goes away after a day or two, and I only feel it a few times a year. Well, this morning I woke up 2 hours earlier than normal because of a spontaneous wrist pain, worse than any I've felt. It could be because I slept on it wrong, but I wouldn't imagine it hurting this bad. If it keeps hurting for more than 2 days I'm going to see a doctor. The only thing that relieves the pain is keeping it perfectly still. Any ideas? There is no parathesia, and I doubt it is CTS. I would think some sort of tendon problem. Try one of those wrist braces you can pick up at the drug store. An anti-inflammatory may help. And yeah, see you doc if it doesn't get better. because u said u type so much at the computer it could be an ongoing cramp that ur getting. the best thing anyone can advise u to do, is get to the doctor and get it checked out, because it will prob only get worse! this could be C-T-S Carpal tunnel syndrome and Question do you have a numbing feeling in the finger's or hand's with pain ! |
