Seasonal Affective Disorder...does it affect you at times? |
I know that SADS is a condition related to lack of sunlight, ( my brother has it severely) I ocassionally have a few days, when I seem to get it. We've had so many gray days this fall, and it's knocking the socks off me! Depression is usually more severe in some patients during the winter season because it is too cold. Others are advised to places with sunnier climate like Florida or probably the Philippines than being in places where there is snow. I moved to Florida 6 yrs ago and no longer suffer from Sad. I could never figure out why I was so depressed when it was time to turn the clocks back every yr..but now it doesn't matter anymore. Moving will change your life. I should have done it before I got into my 40's. Think about it!! Report It |
