S.A.D.-Seasonal Affective Disorder. Who is begining to feel this depression at this time of year,(September)?

North American's or Europeans in particular.

This time of the year can heighten depression. In North America it is getting darker earlier. The trees are going to be losing their leaves.
This is also the time of year when other people are starting new adventures (school, college, new jobs, taking classes).
It can make me feel like I am missing out.
It brings up that question, "What do I want? What am I missing? It can be sad.

north america I start to feel it about november when we get our gloomy weather at that time. by the time december comes around I am a bit blaa. by feb as the days are getting longer and march is spring time here I start to get cabin or spring fever big time.

RRRRR

North American here =). I know I'm feeling pretty upset. September isn't my favorite month. I despise it. It's when all the drama in my life happens for some odd reason, and it drives me completely insane. Plus, the weather plays some part in my frustration and whatnot. It's too hot at the moment.

me!

I'm weird. I LOVE fall weather. I love rainy, drizzly, grey days. What I HATE is too much sun or too hot. I pefer 50-70 degrees farenheit. Am I werid? I am Soo rerady for fall!!

i get that way too but in reverse... I get it in the summer and spring! I thrive in winter and fall

this is bull. you're depressed. deal with it. it's not the weather.
been there , big time.

I don't feel it, but get some vitamin D. Gives you the same thing sun would if you were outside.

definitely me because school just started.
