How much Gingeroot are you suppose to take to prevent seasickness? |
Mythbusters proved Gingeroot is the best seasickness remedy, but I do not remember the dosage. I'd take a chunk about a teaspoons worth, and peel it. Then just keep it in your mouth, slowly chewing and getting the juice. Keep quite a bit on hand. It's practically impossible to OD on it! LOL! I've done this for car sickness and it's excellent! Also, you may wan't to add essential oils of peppermint and lavender for smelling. Put a couple of drops on a cotton ball and sniff, or even put in airvents if appropriate. Peppermint is great for nausea, and Lavender is all around relaxing, and kills icky stuff in the air. |
