Scoliosis, I have a doubt about it?

I checked scoliosis on the Internet. It's full of people with a bent torso. A doctor diagnposed me with scoliosis long ago, but my spine is horizontally right. Still I had to wear a bace for 23 hours day. What happened. Is my curvature to the front and not to the side? 23 hours a day also seem too much because my scoliosis is barely noticeable, if it exists... Was I fooled? Please answer, if you understand somehting on this issue.

ok twas kyphosis. now i get it. u can still help me tho...

For scoliosis, at least, the brace isn't used to fix the curve, but rather to keep the curve from getting worse. That's why it is worn 23/7. Also, if you are still growing, remember that your growth spurt is when your curve usually increases the most.

I'd be interested in what your curve's measurements (in degrees) are.

Are your shoulder blades different heights? (Thats usually the first sign)

a lot of things that go wrong with the body aren't noticeable from the outside, did you have xrays or an MRI that might have showed the doctor something different.

the brace don't tell you anything
