Scoliosis and flexibility?

yeah, well i have scoliosis and we have this major fitness gram in PE, involving touching your toes and other hand to toe stuff, but the problem is, i cannot touch my toes and cant do these special sit-ups where we have to sit up with our hands flat and go 4 inches. trunks lifts are especially hard for me, (average is around like 14 inches, i can only do around 9) and i am worried that i will fail, but does alot of it have to do with my scoliosis problem? its not real bad, but i do have it.

(PS, if i stretch and practice daily, will i get more flexibile? if so, what should i do?)

Yes you will get more flexible but maybe not as much as others.
I have the same thing and can curl forward easily but can't do a back bend to save my life. Finally had to get a doctors excuse so I wouldn't flunk PE.
Try pilates it really helped with my flexibility and torso strength, gave me a nice trim waist too.
