Sciatica nerve problem? |
My sister told me her dr said that her sciatica nerve was in her arm. Ithought your sciatica nerve was just in your buttocks traveling down in your leg and could go as far down in your achille`s tendon. Is the first part of this question true or false about it could also go into your arm? Please help and find out if this is true. Im desperate about knowing!!! Sciatica refers to pain or discomfort associated with the sciatic nerve. This nerve runs from the lower part of the spinal cord, down the back of the leg, to the foot. Injury to or pressure on the sciatic nerve can cause the characteristic pain of sciatica: a sharp or burning pain that radiates from the lower back or hip, possibly following the path of the sciatic nerve to the foot. Brendy wins the points right? I suffered from Sciatica for years until I finally had to have surgery to get true relief. The Sciatica is in the back and goes down your buttock and into your leg and ankle caused by pressure to the nerve root. But, you can have numbness and tingling in your arms also, this is also a sign of problems with the nerve root. Go to this web site so you and your sister can both get more information. Sorry Kent but I think Lilbitevil just snatched it away from Brendy. |
