Can sciatica cause a burning sensation? |
My daughter has severe pain and burning along the outside of her left leg from her buttock to her toes. I suffer from chronic sciatica but I know the symptons are different from a sciatica attack and I just want to know if burning is one of the symptons of a sciatic attack. Yes. Besides the numbness, pain and tingling, I have a burning feeling that goes from my lower back down into my foot. Yes it is. Yes, that happened to me. I also got a cramping feeling, and could barely move my leg. Absolutely it can. I deal with it every day and have for 30 years. It can also leave a leg with no feeling in it at all. It left my right leg with no feeling at all for 5 months. Take her to a good chiropractor. They are the ones to deal with this. If the sciatic is involved then the disc L-5 is likely also. |
