Can sciatica cause testicle pain?

It's been almost a year since my left testicle has become rather sensitive to the touch. I remember it started after using improper form while lifting weights. I went to the doctor and he checked it out and said that I didn't have a hernia. The sensitivity would not subside so he sent me to have an ultrasound done on my testicles. The results were negative and they said everything looked normal. Then, a few months ago I went jogging (after a long period of being very idle) and the next day I felt this horrible stretching/burning sensation in my leg/butt whenever I sat down. The doc said it is probably sciatica and put me on a muscle relaxer and a NSAID. The stretching/burning has basically gone away (though I still feel a light stretching sensation sometimes) but the sensitivity in my left testicle has not. Can sciatica cause testicle pain? Also, do you know if a chiropractor can help? I've heard and read so many bad things about chiropractors but I'm sick of the sensitivity.

In response to Tom: I also had a blood test done and it revealed that I have thalassemia but nothing that could be causing the sensitivity.

I have this sciatica. It comes as quickly as it goes away. It can put me on the floor in serious pain.
There is no reason (like heavy lfting).
Chiropractic is ok but I get a back massage from a person that does acupressure. The idea is to stretch the vertabrae so stopping the pinched nerve inflamation.
Yes the testes do get sore, same as the pain all the way down to the feet.
Take anti imflamitory med and when the pain is gone, then exercise.
Everyone has a sore back, until they get sciatica, then they realy know.

Absolutely - no question. My hubby has suffered that a few times, and the groin area is part of what is affected. Not sure if a chiropractor can help, but it would be worth a shot.

TO MUCH INFO BRO

I've had joint and back pain but it never caused testicle pain. If it is related to nerve pinching, the chiropractor might help. May I say that it bothers me that the doctors are not digging deeper into the cause of your pain. What about blood test to see what shows up? Also, is it prostate related?

Yes, sciatica can cause testicular pain .

It could be Prostatitis an infection or an inflammation of the prostate gland.
Prostatitis is common and affects many men at some time.
The term prostatitis actually encompasses four disorders: Acute bacterial prostatitis , Chronic bacterial prostatitis , Nonbacterial prostatitis, and Prostatodynia.
Acute bacterial prostatitis is the least common of the four types but also the easiest to diagnose and treat effectively.
The antibiotics may help if your prostatitis is caused by bacteria, or it may help due to anti-inflammatory effects of antibiotics.
The term prostatitis is applied to a series of disorders, ranging from acute bacterial infection to chronic pain syndromes, in which the prostate gland is inflamed

Chiropractors: at the rsik of sounding damning ..I will give my opinion of them.. I am sure there are many out there that are good qualified chiropractors but I personnally don't condone them. Once you start it is difficult to give it up and sorry to say many actually make the matter worse .

Probably not from the sciatic nerve. More likely you have refered pain from a lumber disc problem. I have the same issue, pain and a stretching pulling sensation. When I get these symptoms I start paying more attention to my posture and do some low back exercises. Specifically prone press ups. You may or may not have lower back pain symptoms as well. Hope this helps.
