Sciatica is it curable??

Sciatica pain in the legs. Can you share personal experience where you have benifited.

Sciatica is curable too a certain extent. They now do root blocks and on some people they work for years others months. If it's left to long the pain will come back sooner after a root block. Go and see your family Dr. and request an appointment with a paine specialist. They can do the root block or refer you to Neourosurgeon for one. My son had a co-worker who had one and it did miracles for her, mine is booked for March and I'm looking forward to it. So don't give up keep asking until you get what you need. Good luck

Sciatica is not curable because it is a symptom and not a disease.

Yes you are able to completely heal chronic sciatica. Even though most docs, chiropractors and massage specialist will diagnose this as a pinched nerve, disc or muscle imbalance, the most likely cause of your sciatica is tension/stress/anxiety.

A good test is to take a look at your personality. If you relate to the type A behavior (striving, controlling. very self-conscious, perfectionistic, worry, pleasing, do-gooder, overly-competitive) then the cause of your sciatica is most likely oxygen deprivation. This is the effect of inner stress/tension on your nervous system. The system will restrict blood flow to muscle and nerve tissue. Lack of oxygen to the tissue results in a variety of pain sensations (burning, sharp, dull, soreness, tightness, spasm).
I had chronic back pain with sciatica and piriformis for more than 20 years and when I discovered this diagnosis I was able to eliminate all of my chronic pain...I have been pain free for 5 years now. Good Luck.

It is not curable. If it is really severe, you may have surgical procedures done though. I saw a physical therapist, and he gave me really good stretching and techniques to lower the pain and diminish it.
