Sciatica pain driving me crazzzy!? |
I have had bad sciatica pain for months. The pain is so debilitating. It comes and goes... but mostly comes. This time it feels like an electric shock and is so painful. I have had an MRI and it shows some disc problems, but cant get appt with doctor for another 3 weeks!! HELP! I need some relief from this pain until my appt. I cant take any anti inflammatory drugs because i have only one kidney. I have lost work from this pain and i need to get some relief! ANY SUGGESTIONS??? How come the doctor that read the MRI and told you there was disk problems did not prescribe pain relief for you? chiropractor Try acupuncture... I have a friend who has sciatica and he swears by those treatments ! see a chiropracter. it wont fix it immediatly but it will help. This sounds stupid but when you sleep at night try putting a bed pillow between your knees. this will align you knees with your spine and will take the pressure of the sciatic nerve. I also agree that you need to contact the doctor that prescribed the MRI for some pain relievers |
