Do anyone know about sciatica in the legs and procedures of healing ?

years ago i kept slip falling down from over flow of water coming from every where and as the results left me behind with sciatica from my spine down into my legs . what' treatments and procedures do you know of or know about it now ?All responses are in need . Thanks .

I have sciatica now, and have had it for years. Usually it will come in spells and stretching can help relieve the pain. You should also consider going to a chiropractor who can show you the correct way to stretch. Motrin helps as well if it just starts kicking in and you feel it. Remember don't lift with your back, it can just make it worse. Hope this helps.

I have had sciatica attacks for years - its important to avoid lifting anything heavy or badly as this can trigger an attack. I had an orthopedic belt made as part of my treatment - similar to a lightweight weight lifting belt which I wear at the first sign or when driving long distances

it all depends on what is causing it.is it a disc issue or a vertebrae ? you need to get an MRI in order to narrow down procedures for healing. Once you do figure out what is the pain generator,then you should try a conservative treatment like physical therapy.here is a great book

if you dont get the results you are looking for atleast 6 months later then you would want to consder , cortizone shots or surgical intervention.
