1. that's a pretty general question, since just about everything you ingest, drink, or breathe has poisons & chemicals in it. and my dear, life is fatal.

but to answer your questions in order: no. & an ex-smoker. quit for health reasons.

a) Everything has risk; I could choke on a peanut, or have an allergic reaction to a medicine or vaccination. I would take varying amounts of risk if it benefitted the greater good. I would gladly take a fatal dose of cyanide to save the life of my child.
