I want to be muscular and fit and health when i go to high school any workout plans/ tips to help me do this?

im 13 i weigh 145 and im 5'4 i really want to loose weight im thinking to hit the local y and im in desprite need of workouts and ruteans

Just do the usual , eat right and do plenty of exercise

First let me applaud you for wanting to start a routine. Second, there are many weight routines available that could benefit you tremendously if used with consistency. But let me state that lifting is only 25% of the equation of creating a good healthy body. The other 75% has to do with maintaining a good healthy diet consisting of plenty of veggies and lean protein, as well as healthy fats, and complex carbs as well. Oh and plenty of water as well.

I would start by researching sites like wannabebig.com or bodybuilding.com which contain many articles pertaining to fat loss, muscle building, and healthy diets. Another source of knowledge is Dr. John Berardi at Johnberardi.com. I would suggest reading his articles as well.

NOW! on to you question about a routine. I am a fan of circuit training, but there is a great article called the "Fill in the blanks routine" Please read it http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/lebrun16... I think it can help you out.

Ohh and when you hear the term bodybuilder I am sure you think of a big juiced up muscle head, but bodybuilding is a lifestyle that can develop you into a great person. It requires focus, determination, goal setting, and a certain amount of confidence that will help you in and out of the gym. Bodybuilding will not only keep you strong and fit, it will keep you healthy well beyond your youthful days. So again good luck and always remember to stretch :)
