Current Health Issue! (help)?

I need to find an interesting/cool (not extremely boring) current health issue for school. I just need help to find something to do it on and i have to find an article about it. Plus i dont really want something people have heard a million times,,

Teeth & gums.

Do a topic on a certain STD that you dont hear a lot about, like syphilis. I did a presentation on it in college and I learned so much about it and what it can do to your entire body, not just your sex organs. It will also make your classmates think twice about having unprotected sex again.

About the HPV vaccine (Gardasil).
Imagine a vaccine that actually prevents cancer.
Read about the HPV viruses and how the vaccine was "born".
It's really fascinating stuff.

Another way is to talk about what a woman goes through to get rid of the symptoms from hpv (dysplasia) that would be somewhat detailed orietented and scare women and hopefully they'd think twice about not using a condom. people can have hpv for years and not have symptoms until years later. There are a few different surgery types out there... I know someone who's gone through surgery.

There is a new vaccine to prevent cervical cancer for female under 26 years. Nickname for the most painful shots and many of the teenagers fainted after the shots.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is a vaccine that targets certain sexually transmitted strains of human papillomavirus associated with the development of cervical cancer and genital warts.

Gardasil and Cervarix are preventative (rather than therapeutic) vaccines, recommended for women who are 9 to 25 years old and have not contracted HPV. However, since it is unlikely that a woman will have already contracted all four viruses, and because HPV is primarily sexually transmitted, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended vaccination for women as old as 26.

did you know rhat the entire food supply of the United States is contaminated with toxic chemicals? The FDA is powerless to do anything about it. Check out PANNA.org
the pesticide action network and the Intl Indian Treaties Council page at www.treatycouncil.org-rattlesnake

Did you (or anyone else) know that 7% of the population is unfairly discriminated against by their employers, simply because they have an anxiety problem? Here's a site about it: http://www.paruresis.org/drug_test_refor...
It's an interesting topic, and it's something you rarely hear about, so it won't be something everyone knows about already.
