Do you think my health project will offend anyone?

I wrote a report about the dangers of childhood obesity and eating disorders. I also have to make a board that will be put on display. There are about 5 obese kids in our entire school and the health teacher is obese (if not close).

I don't think it's offensive, would a cancer patient be offended by a report on Cancer? Anyway the presentation may help them make better choices.

Maybe your project will open their eyes. Childhood obesity can lead to dangerous health conditions in later years. Obesity is unhealty and needs to be corrected. Plus its not like its something that can't be treated.
You may start by letting everyone know that your project is not intended to offend anyone, but to show about eating disorders. If you show the cause, the effect, the dangers, and the treatment, I would say you have done a good job. And it shouldn't offend anyone, although it may. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes, But you're telling the truth, and the truth hurts. Kids just keep getting fatter and fatter. You see kids at 5 and 6 years old that are 100 pounds.

Coming from a fat woman, this is a fine, important project. It's not like you're going to be screaming "Hey, fatso!" or that you're pointing fingers. You are discussing the act, not the person.

don't put pictures of obese people up on your board-place anatomical and scientific type pictures up on your board.Place pictures of healthy foods/unhealthy foods etc..

Should be ok! You hear about the dangers everywhere, so it wont be news to them! Good luck!
