Schizophrenia..?

19640.1

i thought i had social anxiety but i think i have schizophrenia.. i was skipping college classes and started seeing things that werent there and thought i was seeing someone and had a connection with them and talked to them in my head and talked to them outloud as if the were there and then i got so frustrated that i needed to have them there in human form and thought i was in love with them and they were in love with me.. then it got out fo control and i became suicidal.. now im depressed and anxious i almost failed out of school i think i had a nervous breakdown i think i need antipsychotic meds
i thought everything was a sign and that it was telling me my greater calling in life

With the fluctuation in mood, it could be bipolar disorder. At the high, or mania, people can experience feelings of immortality, have grandiose thoughts, and even hallucinate. At the low, depression can cause suicidal thoughts and anxiety.
Go see a mental health professional as soon as possible, and be very specific with describing your concerns. You could see your school psychologist or nurse to direct you where to go from there to alleviate your fears.

I dont think you have Schizophrenia because people that have it actually believe all the things they see and hear are real, and they are not aware of themselves like you are. Also people with Schizophrenia might display flat affect, incoherence in speech and though, muscles might lock up, etc. talk by themselves, etc. Look up more info on Schizo, and go see a therapist ASAP.

Sounds like a panic attack and fantasy to me instead of social anxiety or schizophrenia. Self diagnosis, or by another non-professional, of any mental disorder is usually wrong. Such a panic attack may be brought on by fearing failure in school.

I suggest getting assistance in achieving "self-confidence" and "self-motivation" For a start type the previous words in quotes into Yahoo! web search. A number of informative links comes up for each. Also try "depression" for some clues as to whether you really are clinically depressed and self help in overcoming this. If all this fails to help see your GP physician for a recommend to a therapist.

If you persist in having suicidal thoughts definitely seek a med Doctor and/or call 1-800-SUICIDE, they will help you.

Good luck in your research and studies, good mental health, peace and Love!
