Does scars matter? |
I have a friend who has scars on her legs because she was and still is a bit of a tomboy so she would scrape her legs and get cuts that leaves scars. Now she refuses to wear skirts, shorts and dresses because she said ppl would see her scars, i told her that noone would mind her scars but she has it in her head that guys wouldn't want to talk to her because of them is she right or is she nuts? She should show them off with pride! I was a tomboy as well, and had the scars to prove it, most guys see this as someone who likes adventure and isn't afraid of getting hurt doing things, hiking, rockclimbing etc. It certainly did not bother me or anyone I went out with. Scars show character! She should wear them proudly. Scars don't matter... get some mederma.... Problem is a lot of people these days are/were cutters, even though the leg isn't a good place for it, some people *might* think she was... other then that, most people will not care like at all about them. If anything, they are just stories... lol I like scars. I think they show a person's adventurous side, and they aren't afraid to get hurt. They show that the person has a past. Scars are tattoos with interesting stories behind them. Maybe she should get a job in construction, where everybody has scars and interesting lives. |
