Scars that wont fade?

I have really sensitive skin and when I was little I scratched my skin till it bled, so my legs are all covered in scars. Now it's not so bad, but you can still see it very clearly. Its been there for years plus and wont fade. And now sometimes when I accidently get cut or have these little wounds that used to heal wthin weeks, wont heal. Even nail marks are there from when someone grabbed my arm. They wont heal. Why? And How can I make the scars go away? Are there any surgery or creams? I am so embarresed of my scars that I cant even wear skirts

Apparently Coco butter and Bio oil can promote fading of scars but there are some studies that Vitamin E can impair healing and also one third of people will develop and allergic reaction to it.

I use Bio Oil on my operation scars.The scars have faded a lot.My plastic surgeon is delighted with me.I use it about 2-3 times a day.

Use cocoa butter or anything with vitamin E in it_x

I really hope those scars go away b/c I know how badly it can effect your life and self esteem =)
