Scars not by stitches?

i had a big scar just above my forehead due to injuries when i am 8 years old. until now the scar is still visible. The doctor did not use stitches but something called " glue " , what is the the " glue "? it leaves me a big scars and it's bothered me so much and sometimes i feel like giving up on myself. Can i get surgery for to get rid of it ? Will it be costly?

The glue is a medical grade of super glue. The ingredients are not the same, but its easier than stitches.

The cheapest way is to buy Mederma (probably didn't spell that right) at a drug store and rub it on the scar nightly. Its supposed to make the scar not as noticeable, but will not eliminate it.
