Acne scars and acne?

I have acne thats actully starting to go away but I still have a few zits and mostly it's just scars. but is there some wash or scrub or something I can use that fights both acne and acne scars at the same time? i heard that morning burst stuff helps with acne scars, but some people say it doesnt do anything except wake you up. please help!

I tried proactiv and it didn't work and ended up giving me a rash and breaking out worse. so don't suggest that! also I don't want to spend tons of money

I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.

are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.

Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure.

proactic i have tons of scars from pickin mi zits and now hter all gone when i used it

a good product to use for acne scars is Mederma. it's really good, but it's pricey (around $10-13 a tube) and it takes between three-six months to work. good luck.

Try (Proactive) it's really good. If you are getting red cyst that cause what is called (Hyper pigmentation or dark spots that you get after the cyst has healed, then you should go to a Dermatologist.

Mederma works well. I prefer using Tea Tree Oil. It naturally fights acne causing candida (one of the root problems with clogged pores) and it fades scars.

Don't let the term "oil" freak you out. Tea Tree Oil doesn't cause further breakouts. It fights them.

Try not to squeeze the pimples, or you will end up with scars. The only thing that worked for me was taking milk out of my diet -- I recommend seeing a nutritionist! No dermatologist was ever able to solve my acne problem.
