Doxycycline helping acne scars?

So I've been using doxycycline for a few weeks, and it actually worked. Now anything that's let on my face are acne scars (they look like small red spots). Does doxycycline help? And how long does it take, if it does work, to clear up. If it doesn't work, what is a product that you KNOW will work, and will clear them up fast, I don't want to buy another product that doesn't work, so if you tell me a product make sure it's known for working on acne scars.

I have this big dance coming up in 2 weeks, and I was hoping it would clear up by then.

The scars are mostly on my forehead and there are about 10-15 scars (If that helps at all).

there are these over the counter scar removal gels (like neutrogena). it's a small tube and quite expensive ($10) but it helps clear up the red marks. good luck!

i'm not sure if the Doxy would clear the scars, because it just stops the oil secretion, not exfoliate.
