Vit. E for pimple scars?

i've read a lot of people's answers. most of them suggested vit.e for pimple scars.

1) like HOW MANY DAYS will it lighten the scars?
2) i have REDDISH scar, wouldn't it irritate my skin?
3) can i use the vit.e capsule, slice it, and put the oil directly on the scar?
4) what's on vit.e that help lighten or remove pimple scars?

omg, vitamin e is so good! but, it has to be 100% pure vitamin e oil. it has different levels of concentrate. go to dermae.com. if you have sensitive skin stick with a low to medium concentrate. just use a little bit considering that it is an oil and not a gel or cream. i have really sensitive skin, so one time i broke out in like little red bumps all over my upper lip area from the irritation of getting my upper lip threaded. i went to the health food store in my neighborhood and she told me to apply vitamin e oil to my upper lip twice a day. let me just say, that within 2 weeks, all the red bumps were gone. it's a natural cure/miracle/remedy. i'm not sure how many days specifically it will take, everyone's skin heals differently. it will not irritate the skin, it soothes and protects it. vitamin e also acts as a good treatment for extra dry skin. i don't recommend the capsule, because in the capsule i believe there are other "chemicals added to it". natural vitamin e oil, purchase it at a health store, it comes in a bottle. like i said go to dermae.com. you can buy it from there as well. vitamin e is a natural healing agent for the skin.

I don't think that applying E to a scar after the fact will do much. I think it has to be used prior to the forming of the scar in the healing process.

The best way to completely remove a acne scar is by visiting your dermatologist. He will do some starlux laser and you will be fine. Also, its most likely not vitamin E that replenishes the skin, I believe its Vitamin A derivative called isoretonoid (aka roaccutane) that helps with the regeneration of skin cells. But Vitamin E is good for the skin tho.

The source below discussed the benefits of vitamin e. Also, a product called Mederma is supposed to really help with scars.
