Where does scarlet fever usually occur?

geographically, where in the world

It's rare to see it here in the USA, but as rare as it is, my young nephews cought it in grade school from another sick child who should have been home instead of spreading it around the class. Scarlet Fever is a type of Pox virus, and is sometimes mistaken for Chicken Pox because it results in the same red welts on the body. You usually find Scarlet Fever in third world countries that have dirty conditions and poor medical technology, like Africa and many parts of Southeast Asia, but with the rash of immigration into our country, God only knows what biological crap is being brough in and from where.
