Can an adult in their 40's get scarlet fever?? Scarlet fever most commonly affects children under age 10, but can infect anyone. Any person can get scarlet fever. Why not? Yes..if you haven't had it before.. It's worse when you're an adult so make sure you see a Dr and rest. (complications are a BIG factor when you have childrens diseases as an adult.) Any person can get Scarlet Fever same way you can get chicken pox as an adult. |
