My son has a sore throat, fever of 101, and a rough rash appearing on his neck and abdomen.Scarlet fever?????

First of all, don't freak out. It could be plenty of other things. Mine did the same and had German measles, a really minor thing these days. A little medicine, he was fine. And btw ... scarlet fever ain't what it used to be. Just take a deep breath, watch the rash, and see a doctor first thing in the morning ... or tonight if the rash keeps spreading and the fever climbs.
