Does scabies bumps appear "in pairs"? |
i was told that that the easiest way to recognise scabies (apart from the itching, etc ), is if the bumps are somewhat in pairs, even if they are all over the body, they should be in pairs, since the insect burrows through one, and the other bump is the one from which it came out of. like, in & out? so is it true about the pair of bumps, and if yes, what is the explanation for it? any recommended site with good clear images of scabies shown clearly? thx I've never heard this. Scabies generally stay under the skin most of the time -- they're not burrowing in and out. I've seen the bumps/blisters before (my grandma had it once) and they weren't in pairs, they just looked random. go to your doctor hell get rid of what ever it is you have got Go to the doctor - if you have scabies, you need to start treatment NOW - it will not go away on its own, and the itching will get worse until it drives you crazy. The treatment is no big deal, it's a cream that you have to slather from your hairline down to the bottoms of your feet. Scabies are contagious, so you'll need to wash your laundry separately in hot water, use your own bar of soap, and avoid close physical contact until you're clear.
