Can Scabies look like pimples? |
My dermatologist said I had Scabies. They are on my back and stomach but especially all over my breasts. They are hard, red bumps and some of them have whiteheads. They are slightly itchy but not intolerable. I don't think they're pimples because of the rate they are spreading. I went from maybe 5 bumps on my chest to like 50 in a couple of days! I tried the RX lotion for scabies but it didn't help yet. My Dr. swears I can't catch it from my pets but my cat is always scratching and biting at his fur leaving sores (he doesn't have fleas, I give him Frontline). Would tanning help kill these bugs (my friend has a tanning bed she doesn't use so I'm not worried about anyone catcing them)? What is the white stuff that looks like pus from a whitehead, is that its eggs? If I get a magnifiying glass, would I be able to see them? I feel so gross! Is there an oral medication I could take? sounds like chicken pox....but if Dr says scabies then it most likely is .. .it is a cream u have to put all over you...you may have gotten it from tanning.,., you can get scabies from trying on clothes in a store that someone who had tried before you, hotel sheets, never ever lay on the top bed spread, because they are not washed after every visit....Scabbies takes about three to four weeks for you to start to feel the itch and it is ten times worse at night. Good Luck to you ask your doctor If the cat does have scabies, my doctor said just bathe them and they will be cured. But the doctor should of given you 2 bottles of scabicide and some pills to help with the itching. Clean your house like crazy, try and change the sheets every night and if you have a bed buddie have them go to the dermatologist too... its really contagious |
