Questions about scabies? does it sound like i have them?

i have about 10 red bumps on one arm. they itch, but not always. this has been going on for about 3 days. i am fairly cleanly and have never had scabies before, and no one i know has them. does it sound like i have scabies? i cant think of anything else with this discription, but the bumps are so spread apart and few, it just doesnt seem the same as other peoples symptoms that ive seen.

That doesn't sound like scabies. Scabies mainly get between your toes and fingers first then spread to other body parts. It sounds like you got a flea up your sleeve and it has gone to town, or they may just be heat bumps.

Scabies burrow under the skin and leave a little line, that is how you will recognise whether or not the bumps are scabies.

It is a myth that scabies are only contracted by dirty people, just like head lice. ANYONE can catch them.

If you are still worried I say see your doctor to make absolutely sure.
