Help me get rid of Scabies!?

My boyfriend, myself, and out 16 month old have scabies. We have all the medication needed.

I just want to know what I have to do around the house, to get rid of them. I've read a lot of internet articles and some contridict eachother.

Some say to spray couches and funiture and others say I can just vacum everything.

Also, I've read that they don't live after 3 days, if they are not on a human body. So, can I just block off my bedroom for 3 days and wait until they are dead, and then wash my covers?

We just washed all our clothes in hot water, but when I folded them, did scabies get back on them?

Do you really have to throw your toothbrush away?

How do you put the scabies medication on a baby? It can't go in the eyes, and he rubs his eyes when tired. (we're gonna put the meds on before bed)

AHHH! HELP! I tried the treatment before and it didn't work. It HAS to work this time!! Give me the facts!

Any other info is appreciated! (other than the questions I asked

Also, can scabies get on DVD's, tables, computers, counters, things like that...?

I ended up having to use Raid on everything, even my own itchy spots, to get rid of it. Actually it was mange that my dog had, but mange is scabies. I was miserable for weeks and had tried all the prescriptions first. I don't think the little bit of Raid that I used was any more harmful than all those other things that I used. I would just dab a speck of it on the individual spots, definitely not all over. All of the meds contain pyrethrins just like Raid.

Obviously, you cannot use that on a baby but you could spray just about everything, close the door and wait for the spray to work.

I don't know if this works but an oldfashioned treatment is Vaseline. It is supposed to smother the mites. Maybe you could put on the treatment and then put Vaseline on top of it.

I feel for you.

I wouldn't worry about computers, toothbrushes, etc., just soft things that your body touches, like clothes, bedding, and carpet.

WASH ALL YOUR BEDLINEN THOUROUGHLY!make sure you cover your bodies as instructions and do it all of you together!have you been back to te doctors because if you followed info then it should of worked first time!or could you be getting para that you havnt got rid
