Do i have scabies? |
my boyfriend just got over scabies about 2 or 3 weeks ago, but he wasnt diagnosed with it until about a month or 2 after those little red bumps started to appear. i hung out with him a lot, at least 4 days a week. before he got those bumps i was fine, but about 2 weeks after, i started to itch in a couple places. now im extrememly itchy everywhere, and im not a person that has dry skin. its usually fine during the day, but during night it gets horrible, im itching every 10 seconds EVERYWHERE. i dont really have those little red bumps, i have a couple on my hand, but no where else. do you think i have scabies, or something else? I myself am going through a mite infestation due to my lizards. Scabies is a type of mite that is contagious, communicable from person to person. Here is something I purchased http://naturalginesis.com/id55.htm This website gives information on scabies as well as a treatment for them using enzymes. I am waiting for my order to arrive. Basically, the enzymes kill the scabies in a different mechanism than poisons/toxins (scabies can become acclimated/used to pesticides, whereas they don't become used to this product). Definitely see a dermatologist (you might need a referral from your primary care physician) and ask them to do a skin-scraping to determine if it is indeed mites. The dermatologist can prescribe a skin creme with permethrin in it probably. Good luck! yeah...i bet u do...my sister got the exact same symoptoms and she broke out in tiny red dots. Get it checked out!!! If u don't the bumps get bigger and some will open up and look like open sores. |
